Friday-Thursday

Friday--6 miles with 4 hills, speedy last mile at 6:22 pace at the end.  Felt strong.

-schedule change, long run moved to Saturday, unfortunately.

Saturday-supposed to be 12 miles at 7:30.  Did 6 miles at 7:30, lap 2 of 6 miles was miserable, too hot, drank too much water, felt too dehydrated, ended up walking some, shorted the run by 1/2 mile.  Infuriating run, made I didn't stick to my guns and just do it Sunday.

Sunday- did nothing.

Monday-went out for 10 miler with Chris.  About 4.5 miles in he had crazy knee pain, ran/walked the rest, both disappointed.

Tuesday-1 hour of strength/weights, plus 1 mile run.

Wednesday--first good long run of the week.  Ran 6 fast miles (average 7:12 pace), and then ran 1 mile on the new treadmill at the gym with the horizontal planks tread.  Felt harder to run on it, but liked it.

Thursday--off.

Monday-Thursday

Monday--I think I ran 5 miles, but I kind of forget.

Tuesday--an hour of strength & weight-training and an easy 4-miler outside

Wednesday--a fast 5-miler (35:15) (despite wicked soreness from the weights/strength training)

Thursday--glorious day of not exercising (still sore, but am enjoying it, means I worked).

Saturday, Sunday

18 awful miles on Saturday.  Too hot and humid.  Didn't feel great half-way through, disintegrated around 14, had to walk a bit after that, then ran/walked Summer Streets to get to 18.  Watch said I did 18.99, but I think it's off by a mile---seemed to get screwed up after the 4th time through the tunnels at Grand Central.

Rested Sunday.  Woke up today (Monday), feel like I just want to rest more.  Am going to run tonight, though.

Tuesday-Friday

Tuesday: 1+ hours weight training, 2-mile run in 13:34

Wednesday: 8 miles outdoors, in rain, legs felt sluggish by the end

Thursday: off!

Friday: 3 & 1/2, 2 hills up to 5 incline.  Made this shorter than usual because running 18 Saturday in Summer Streets.
